Isakson questioned about his statist voting record
Check this out. This guy slams Sen. Johnny Isakson for his statist voting record but for coming home for re-election and talking about free markets and individual liberty. He is right to question Isakson. He voted to expand government and increase spending throughout his career. The questioner had me until he asked to admit that his "true political philosophy is Marxist-Leninism." That's just a bit over the top.
Of course, Isakson side-steps the question entirely.

I don't like Isakson, I never have. But no one any better that can win has run against him. I hope someone answers the call. Too bad the guy took his question a little too far. I'd like to hear Isakson answer it. We may all feel that the senator is acting like a Marxist but that statement gave him the opportunity to easily side step the question. We have just made it back to 59 votes in the senate. I think the last 2 weeks proved my point about 60 votes.

I don't like Isakson either; we must dump him. Calling him names won't help but I admire the guy's nerve in standing up. Isakson doesn't know that he's a socialist / Keynesian; he's an opportunist like so many. We need to state that spending is the main problem and ask him for several specific spending cuts that he will propose and support. Get him on record whenever we can.

Obviously Isakson thinks the only part of the Constitution that applies to him are the first two Amendments in the Bill of Rights.
Donovan for Senate.

I agree, he had me right until that last little bit.
That said, Iskason is a progressive republican, and will not be getting my vote for re-election, along with a good many of the Georgia delegation that represents me.
Gingray Chambliss are you listing?
The man could have put it differently, like you stated supporting Keynesian and socially progressive policy. That would have kept the folks on his side with the question. After all you get more flies with honey than vinegar.
