Ox doesn't want to debate other candidates

John Oxendine, an avid Peach Pundit reader and Republican candidate for Governor, has Republican Party that he will not participate in a debate with other candidates polling under 5 percent.

Depending on which polls you count (polls available here), that would only include Oxendine, Nathan Deal and Karen Handel. It would exclude Jeff Chapman, Eric Johnson, Austin Scott and Ray McBerry.

This isn't the first time I've heard this. A friend working on McBerry's gave me a tip on this a couple weeks ago, but I had no real way to confirm since Oxendine's people pretty much go out of their way to avoid Peach Pundit contributors.

Such arrogance. Oxendine is never wrong and he is too good for other candidates. Imagine how he'll treat you, the citizens of Georgia.

LOL at "avid Peach Pundit reader."

What a maroon.

Its interesting that John Oxendine's comments to the Newton County GOP Christmas party were on the web before I could get home last night from that party. It takes me about 15 minutes to make the drive and granted I stayed around for a bit afterwards to chat. Needless to say I was surprised to read what he said when I got home.
