Nativist bastard leaves CNN
As you've probably heard, Lou Dobbs resigned from CNN:
CNN's Lou Dobbs, a lightning rod for criticism following his transition from a business journalist to an opinionated anchor on such issues as illegal immigration, told viewers on Wednesday that he was quitting his nightly show to pursue new opportunities.I'm glad he is gone. Dobbs was anti-trade, anti-free market and a nativist that never missed an opportunity to knock immigrants seeking to find a better life for themselves."This will be my last broadcast," Dobbs said after giving the day's headlines. Dobbs, who hosts a daily radio show unrelated to CNN, said the network had allowed him to be released early from his contract.
No doubt Fox News is waiting to pick him up.

Times they do change. The essence blows in the wind. People change some not for the better because of the times and the essence in the wind. Where the dew may fall whoever knows because time is waiting to take the essence away and that may make for a better day or for something unknown. (And I have not been smoking anything just taking my little friends. John Lennon said it best with Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds.) Lou Dobbs time has come and gone. What will come we do not know but the ride will be fun.
