Rasmussen: Barnes leads in Dem primary, Baker surges

On the heels of the poll in the GOP primary, Rasmussen released the results for the poll from likely Democratic primary voters.

Former Gov. Roy Barnes stayed about the same, while Attorney General Thurbert Baker more than doubled his support from the previous Rasmussen poll. House Minority Leader Dubose Porter saw support slip. Everyone else is about the same.

As always, you can see an archive of polls in both the Democratic and Republican primaries here.

Democratic Primary for Governor:
- Roy Barnes: 43%
- Thurbert Baker: 19%
- Dubose Porter: 4%
- David Poythress: 4%
- Carl Camon: 3%
- Other: 7%
- Undecided: 21%

Comments

It looks like Barnes' numbers are pretty solid. But with time that will likely erode as Mr. Baker has come up.
