I did not hear anything new - or anything to raise my confidence. As expected the government mandates will require all people to purchase some kind of health care, receive vouchers for same, or sign up for nanny state coverage.
No option exists that will not cost $Billions (maybe $Trillions), so it is a lie to say it is budget neutral.
"Cleaning Up Waste" in Medicare and Medicaid means taking from Peter to pay Paul. Paul may be happy, but you end up with a very sore Peter.
Nothing more or less than state control over the lives of individuals. I see the pattern of a great socialist - nay, fascist - takeover. From financials to banking to manufacturing. Now the one area that bleeds into all facets of life: Health Care. It is not about insurance, but control!
Obama says "many details must be worked out." DUH! Yet he still stood as taking the high road with his hand stretched out to adversaries. His so-called plan offers nothing different than Americans have railed against all summer.
