VIDEO: Obama admits cap-and-trade hurts consumers
"Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily sky-rocket. Even...regardless of what I say about whether or not coal is good or bad. Because I'm capping greenhouse gasses, coal-powered plants, you know, natural gas, you name it, whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money onto consumers." - Barack Obama (January 2008)
In a video from January 2008, Barack Obama is incredibly forthcoming about how his cap-and-trade plan is going to cost consumers. He only mentions retrofitting, not the restrictions on the supply of energy.

Gee,yeah think there big boy.
Thing is,energy isn't the only thing that will sky rocket. With the price of energy rising so goes the cost of food, clothing, and all of the other things that energy to produce.
And who will this hurt the most, well the middle class. The same middle class he pandered and lied to about not raising their taxes.

When a government does what the OBOMA administration is doing we are NOT a free nation.
When a government does what the Sonny Perdue led Ga government is doing and as a lame duck I might add we are NOT a free nation.
When a government body does what the B J Mathis led administration in Henry County is doing we are NOT a free nation.
We have been and are being enslaved by all levels of government because there are more consumers of government services than contributers to the tax revenues that allow government to pander to those who will number 1 fund their re-elections and 2 those who benefit from the freebies that government hands out.
The only problem with all these free programs is that they have a price tag and I fear that that price tag is freedom.
How much longer can the governments of our nation continue to spend more than they take in and how much longer before they lay claim to ALL that we produce?
I fear that we are headed in much the same direction as Iran,China,N Korea, and all the other totalitarian governments of the world... granted our government hasn't turned the troops loose on the citizens YET but how much longer before those same citizens say ....ENOUGH ... and the government , in order to survive, will by military force make the citizens bend to its will.....
