Update on Doc’s condition,
Doc has started breathing treatments to help his lung work better. Blood gases were taken today along with other blood samples. He also had a CAT scan today, the scan revealed that he has multiple blood clots in his lung. Doc is in good spirits, joking as he always does. Please keep him in your prayers. I will send updates as I learn them.

Dark Knight,
Please ! if you visit him ,tell him he is in my prayers. He goes beyond be ing a excellant historian, he is a excellant gentle and a friend. He is the example that others should go by when teaching the truths of history.
He and I have not shared the effert of history as a team, but we both have shared the same common effert to see that the truths of history are told true.In that, we have formed a friendship that can only be acheived by having a mutual respect for each others quest for the same goals.
So again please let him know he is in his friends thoughts and prayers.

Sunday update on Doc's condition,
New blood samples were taken at 3:30 a.m. and again at 6:30 a.m.. The pneumonia appears to be getting better, he is responding to the antibiotics. New test results do show that he has multiple blood clots in both lungs. His doctors are giving him clot-busting drugs to dissolve the clots in his lungs. The doctor's will run more tests to determine where the clots are coming from. He is still in good spirits we had a fine time watching the thunderstorms from his window the lightning was spectacular. Please keep him in your prayers.
Mr. Smallwood I printed what you posted to let him see it for him self. He was very
Moved by your comments sir. He said to tell you Thank You and he hopes you are doing fine.

Dark Knight,
That was kind of you to take that for him to read. In that letter to you I said gentle and meant to say gentleman. Sorry for not writing better. Don't worry him , but my diabetes is getting worse they said. Thats why I can't go see him, it is really causing me to have problems driving.
I would imagine they have put him on hepperin "bloodclot buster" It should really help his breathing once the clots are disolved. Let me know if they start him on coumadin,it keeps the clots from forming again. but you have to watch it close until you adjust to it. Thank you again for keeping me informed !

Mr. Smallwood, Doc asked me to post this to you sir.
Dear Terry,
Dark Knight brought and showed me a copy of your concern my friend.
Humbleness before me makes it hard to express my feelings. The heart Doctor told me
That it was very serious and that I am very lucky to be writing this.
My friend thank you for the kind words and hopefully in the days to come I will get much better. I will have to be careful though as this is just a precursor of the things to come for me as my health deteriorates further. Terry, you are a gentleman sir, and I value our friendship more than you realize. I hope this finds you well and in good spirits.

Doc. and D.K.,
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the words here. I have already lost all my family but a brother, who takes care of me more than I deserve. So friends mean a lot to me, especially dear friends, so I want you Doc. to get to feeling better and follow the Dr's orders,OK !!
I have to go myself next week to have some sort of test on my heart , they just want to make sure the diabetes have not affected it . The doctor is just concerned that diabetes , which has started causing nerve problems in my arms and legs, is not causing other problems.
Lets just you and me, and Dark Knight, just take each day the good lord gives us and live each day to us,and pray for better ones.
D.K., Thank you for your help in relaying our notes back and forth,I dub you "Sir Dark Knight" ,take care my friend.

Dear Terry:
I am online for a little while as I am limited to what I can do right now. Thank you sir for being such a good friend during my time of need. The doctor told me that I am a very lucky man to be here right now. I still have the blood clots but the blood thinner is helping to send the blood around better. I have two blood clots in each lung and they are large. I am very limited to what I can do as of yet. I am very tired. He said that this will take several months to resolve and then I will never be the same. Lupus played a large role in what happened to me. We are two gentlemen who love our ancestry and past and we seek to let others know of our heritage which is so rich and bountiful. Terry sir you are always in my prayers and I hope that all is well with you. I must sign off now but I will be back as soon as possible. Take care my friend because we are the last of a generation to care about what we know.

Thank you Robin for your concern. I am battling to stay out of the hospital again. I still have a high fever and pneumonia. I am also still battling with the results of those four blood clots. I am trying but it is hard. Again thank you and I will be in touch.
