Congress to examine BCS

Congress has nothing better to do:

Members of Congress are interested in learning more about the Bowl Championship Series and whether it is a fair way of choosing a college football champion.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee's commerce, trade and consumer protection subcommittee is holding a hearing Friday to delve into how revenue generated by the series is distributed, and the impact that may have on some colleges.

I've got mixed feelings on this. Part of me says, "What the hell?" The other part says, "Whatever keeps them from wasting money."

Oh I think it still wastes money- like their involvement in the steroids scandals.
