Quote of the Day
"I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution; and I do not believe that the power and duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit. A prevalent tendency to disregard the limited mission of this power and duty should, I think, be steadily resisted, to the end that the lesson should be constantly enforced that, though the people support the Government, the Government should not support the people." - Grover Cleveland

Excellent quote. I've tried to make the argument for a while that all I want are people in Washington who will obey the Constitution. If we'd had that we would have NONE of the problems the government has caused.

Government has no desire nor inducement to reduce its size... We are continually sending the same morons back to their ivory towers in Mcdonough,Atlanta and Washington and in doing so they are laughing at us all the way to the bank.
Think about it ... A politicians is for the most part much like a wife beater..... beating us unmercifully for 3/4 th of their term then spending 1/4 th of their term begging forgiveness of their transgressions and vowing to never do it again if we will only give them one more chance . We do and then they get drunk and here we go for another 3/4 ths term.
Is it government that is moron's and stupid or is it we the people?
