Obama appointee's socialist ties

There is a controversy over Carol Browner, who would serve as the Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change in the incoming administration. It turns out that she is a socialist in the very literal sense:

Incoming Global Warming Czar Carol Browner was — until last week — listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group that advocates what's called "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change. The Washington Times reports Browner's name and biography were listed on the Web page for Socialist International .
This is troubling to say the least. I searched the Socialist International website and found her name listed under the group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society.

Browner previously served as Bill Clinton's Director of the Environmental Protection Agency.

That OBOMA is even considering appointing a Socialist if even in name only is treason.
That we would allow it or I should say that our Senators and Representatives in Washington would allow it shows just how close this nation is to a dictatorship much like the former USSR... We are allowing the very freedoms that have been fought and died for over some 275 years to be done away with in just a very short time.
If we allow this Congress and this incoming President to do as they please without accountability to the citizens then we deserve what we get.... As for me I would rather die a free man than be enslaved to a government that views my very being as an asset until used up then a liability to be disposed of ....

During Hillary's hearing 11 of the 12 Republican seats were vacant for all or part of the hearing. They have rolled over.

I am old enough to recall a time when the hint of socialist or communist affiliations was enough to wreck careers and certainly end a government job... Not that McCarthyism was a good thing. But there is no stigma attached at any level.

Shame, stigma, stereotypes have existed for a reason. They all reveal a level of acceptability. As we have moved toward "I'm Ok, You're OK -- just don't tase me, bro" there are no defining qualifications.

It does not matter that generations of Americans have died to protect and defend this country against such enemies. The concept of foreign or domestic has fulfilled the Soviet declaration:

"Of course, we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you."

Riding on the backs of ignorant masses the New Bourgeoisie rises to form a new government - without firing a shot. What is worse, not even one proverbial shot will be fired to prevent it.

I keep telling you Larry ...Buy more bullets...at least you can go out like an American

We let it happen to ourselves. It seems that somewhere along the way we did not instill in our children and our brethren the facts about socialism and communism. Our past 92 years have been watching for Reds under the beds. Well now they are out in the open and ready to do what we were told they would do take us without firing a shot. I remember vividly Mr. Khrushev standing before the U.N. in New York City pounding his shoe on the podium and telling us that we would be taken. We have been on that road ever since then. We have lost many of our liberties that our fathers and their fathers fought so hard and many died to protect. Now we have handed our nation to them without a whimper. These small voices in the wilderness will be the quiet repose that will hopefully someday instill in the minds and hearts of our next generations what our nation stands for and what we are all about. We the People means so much my friends. The people have to stand up and say no if they want to fight this menace that has wormed it's way into the top positions of our government. We allowed them to give our money a few months back to those who would no more know what to do with it than spit but they did and along the way garnered a position in the government controlling some of these financial institutions. That is socialism. Socialism has played a key role in both parties of the government for some time now. That is why it is hard to tell the difference between the two because they are likened by the socialist approach they have decided to take. And with all the worries of everyday life and wondering where to make money to keep our homes and feed the kids then we have let the menace slide into our lives without even realizing what was happening. I heard today that Obama is planning to have his portrait in every government facility around the world. A first for a president. Again that is a sign of socialism as their leaders of the USSR and Cuba and China love to see their pictures on walls around their empires. This socialistic approach that our nation has led itself into shows also the weakness of the minds that lead our nation. They will rue the day that they allowed this to happen to the nation that was created for the liberty and freedom of a people who wanted away from tyranny. Now we have created the same tyranny on a different scale. The very thing our forefathers despised we have turned ourselves into. The Bible says that we reap what we sow well it is time for the harvest my friends and I see a very bitter fruit on that tree.

They're all socialist, Paulson, Bernanke, the Bushes, Cheney, Chertoff, Obama and the Clintons (...and more). "The New World Order" is not a conspiracy, it is a political philosophy. Just read the articles and agenda being put out by those admitted socialist organizations, like the one mentioned above, and the covert ones like the Council on Foreign Relations and their members who are referred to as "global leaders".
Jason,
I wonder what it would take to get an up to date version of the "capitalism" cartoon made. In the long run to win this "war on freedom" we're going to have to educate our children on what the American experiment set out to accomplish and the dangers of socialism and the like.

Daniel,
I think the only answer to Socialism is much feared Revolutionism....
Those with power want us powerless
Those with wealth want us in poverty
Those with strength want us weak and
unable to resist...
We need to take control of our local governments before we can reform our federal government and what makes that so difficult is that local politics are too often controlled from the state or federal level....
We are in danger of loosing all our freedom and the only thing folks do is complain....
