Question to so-called "Conservatives"

Who in God's name are you gonna vote for? You basically have four choices.

(1) Vote for Barack Obama and risk being burned at the stake by the Inquisitors of your Holy GOP.

(2) Vote for John McCain and risk be correctly referred to as someone without principles.

(3) Vote Third Party, lose, but at least have your principles.

(4) Sit it out.

I would suggest 3 or 4. Big-government socialist Barack Obama is gonna crush his big-government socialist opponent John McCain. I'm suprised that Bernie Sanders didn't endorse John McCain. They share an identical ideology.

He speaks. Welcome back.

I would rule out 4. If the socialists can completely cut fiscal conservatives out of the conversation, they win. The Republicans had complete control and they flopped. The Democrats will have complete control in January and they are going to flop too. A decent showing by Libertarians now might be something we can build on later.

If political giant Jace Walden recommends option 3 or 4 then obviously I couldn't make any other choice and live with myself.

If only the rest of America read this blog it would be a tight race between Cynthia McKinney and Bob Barr.

I think the more important question is "What do we do after the election is over?"

After the election is over? Just bend your knees for balance and hold on tightly to your ankles.

Despite the polls, I'm not so confident that Obama has this thing in the bag.

Though, even in conservative East Cobb I'm seeing more Obama bumper stickers than Palin/McCain stickers.

Jace my friend, good to hear from you. You are correct these are our choices. I would suggest choice number 3 as Dutch said have a good showing and build upon it.
The Doctor

The only problem with voting for a Libertarian (or any other third party, for that matter) is that minor increases in vote share are viewed as success and encourages them to continue on their current path. Being right in "principle" or "theory" does no good if you can't even get elected. If you can't get elected, you have no real impact on the process at all. So, call it holding on to your "principles" if that makes you sleep better at night.

Milo what do you do join one of the Major parties.
Actually I did during the Ron Paul campaign and the state GOp wanted nothing to do with me (except a donation). I will give Spaulding GOP a plug they have been nice to the Libertarian types. If the GOP would do a better job reaching out to us we would work with and help work toward a better America.

If you are too stupid to understand this message, please read it until you "get" it.
It is imperative for the survival of our country.

The reason the Democrats and Republicans are raping the taxpayers and pillaging financial institutions with impunity is because they are in reality two wings of one fascist controlled government.
Regardless the candidate or party,
