Biden Snubs Hard Questions
The long tenured Joe Biden shows his inability to hide from tough questions. For the first time a reporter poses the right questions and did not back away when Joe Plugs tried to dodge.
Listen here: Biden Angered By Tough Questions
Biden: “No relationship to ACORN.” I am embarrasd for anyone at ACORN who went out there and registered…Reporter: Obama has been an organizer, attorney, in Senate has been benefactor for ACORN.
Biden: How has he been a benefactor?
Reproter: “Spread the wealth?” Is that a crushing political blinder?
Biden: Absolutely not. The only ones to spread the wealth are George Bush and John McCain.
Reporter: “From each, To each from Karl Marx. How is Obama not being a Marxist if he wants to spread the wealth around?”
Biden: Is this a joke? Obama is not spreading the wealth around. It’s a ridiculous comparison.
Reporter: In time of crisis, you ask people to “stand with Obama,” that he will be tested.
Biden: Any president will be tested. Obama is more ready than John McCain.
Reporter: What do you say to people who think Obama will want to turn America into a socialist country like Sweden?
Biden: I don’t know anyone who thinks that except the far right wing of the Republican Party.
In the common vernacular, this interview proved the purely unmitigated bovine scatology that is the Obama/Biden campaign!
Comments
Mr. Biden cannot face the truth when it is presented to him. He wants to dodge the issue. And again he and Mr. Obama are running against Bush and not McCain.
Hard questions of the real world are the one's that politicians love to avoid.

Hmmm. If their campaign is really so awful, there is no way they can win. Glad this issue has finally been put to rest.

Yes, it has come out -- hardly put to rest. Truth has not tarnished The Messiah yet.

Put to rest by no means. They are likely to win in the climate that has been bred for this election. Whether it is the right choice is another matter.
The press has created an atmosphere where if Obama dosen't win it will not be their fault. The Messianic
Complex.

I guess the fact that the "reporter's" husband, Wade West, is a political and media consultant for Republican politicians. The GOP talking points Barbara West used in her interview more than likely came directly from the McCain/Palin communications team via her husband Wade.
But I'm sure that she is completely "fair and balanced."
The smell of desperation coming from the McCain/Palin camp is overwhelming and this is just one more example of it's flagrant attempt to garner some attention to their equine excrement campaign. Sad really...just sad, but fun to watch.

Smell of desperation - or glimmer of truth??
Regardless of whether the reporter was "told what to say" or simply had a brain of her own, this was the first time ANYONE in the media has challenged the Democrat camp on a topic milions of citizens already know.
THAT is what I find fun to watch.

I guess the fact that the "reporter's" husband, Wade West, is a political and media consultant for Republican politicians.[sic]
So when George Stephanopoulos asks a tough question to a Republican on ABC's This Week, would it be appropriate for the Republican to say, "Hey, you used to work for Clinton. You're obviously biased; therefore, your question is illegitimate and I will no longer answer any of your questions"?
No, of course not. People only complain about "talking points" questions when they don't like the answer that they have to give to the tough question. It's like when incompetent politicians try to blame the media for "got'cha" questions, when the fact is they were too stupid to know the answer. (Palin's Supreme Court question controversy comes to mind here.)
Sarah, the reporter's questions were legitimate even if her connections might be suspect. Just admit that Biden thought he'd have an easy interview with a dim-witted local reporter and he didn't like it when she challenged him.
