Americans tired of Obama?
Americans are getting tired of Obama:
With Election Day still three months away, 48 percent said they're hearing too much about the Democratic candidate, according to a poll released Wednesday by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Just 26 percent said the same about his Republican rival, John McCain.Of course, if you are tired of Obama, you are probably a racist. I also wouldn't read too much into this, I still think McCain will get his ass kicked in November.
[...]
Two-thirds of Republicans and about half of independents said they've heard too much about Obama, as did a third of Democrats, a significant number. At the same time, nearly four in 10 said they've been hearing too little about McCain — about four times the number who said so about Obama. About half of Republicans, four in 10 independents and even a quarter of Democrats said they've not heard enough about the GOP candidate.
I really don't care much about all this talk about race over the last couple weeks. Since these are the only two candidates that the national media will let us hear about I'd like for both of them to talk about some issues.
Comments
I have to admit I thought the air gauge Obama energy plan was pretty good. But I agree everytime the candidates speak lately it seems like they are competing on the "last comic standing".
But it's really getting out of hand when Paris Hilton gets in on the act. How silly is this going to get? Let's talk issues and solutions, and keep the Hollywood bimbos out of it.
Also I was proud of the republican congress for taking a stand against Pelosi, pretty cool.

Jason,
Candidates talking about issues and solutions are such novel ideas.
No wait, I take that back. Jason, you were born about 200 years too late
to have that approach about politicians. Since I’m older, I was only born about 175 years too late. Bob Barr is about 155 years past his time. No way, the current inhabitants of this country are genetically related to any of the founding fathers and mothers.
