Video of Fox 5 Democratic Senate Debate

Here the video from last night's Democratic Senate debate. I would have had it up sooner if it weren't for the storms that came through last night:

I think this debate was a good introduction to the candidates. Good job Fox 5! I like that the format was not a boring ask one question and go through the line of candidates. There was good variety - I like that the candidates could ask each other questions.

Here's my take:
Dale Cardwell is a reporter. He has NO political experience and it's obvious. He's too confrontational. He wasted precious time defending his story instead of telling us why we should vote for him. His journalism credibility and integrity was definitely questioned. My advice: Dale go back to journalism.

Vernon Jones: Looked very comfortable and sounded confident. He talked a lot about his Dekalb County record He has real experience in running gov't, creating jobs, improving infrastructure -I live in Dekalb county I see the improvements! Vernon sounded like the only one with real experience to actually get something done in Washington.

Rand Knight: Wow he really worked up quite a sweat in this debate! His voice was trembling and he looked really uneasy at the beginning, eventually he started to relax - I think. Not sure though let's not forget the reference to Joshua leading us to the promised land!?!(LOL! That was hilarious! Try rehearsing another line Rand you're running for Senator not minister)

Josh Lanier: Very, very comfortable, laid back, open honest, likeable and experienced.

Jim Martin: Definitely, get's cool points from me for standing up to Dale "The Predator" Cardwell.

Overall: A pretty good introduction to the candidates. I'll be looking forward to the next debate.
