Political Forum Planned
The Henry County Branch of the NAACP attempts to help break the Gordian knot of
competing and overlapping candidates by convening its regularly offered Political Forum. Candidates for the County Commission, State Senate, State House, and other office seekers are asked to participate in a unique and revealing forum.
A panel of questioners will pose a rapid fire onslaught of queries that test the candidate’s mental agility and issues awareness. Planned for late June or early July, the event will assist just a little in the deciphering of the election conundrum.
Stay tuned!
This should be a real HOOT!

Why would a candidate want to participate in a rapid fire onslaught of queries that test the candidate’s mental agility and issues awareness.?

A rapid fire onslaught of queries is exactly what I want to see!
The Growth Council "forum" for commission chairman candidates will amount to a social gathering.
Left to the candidates and social elite, I doubt citizens would ever have opportunity to see who and what the candidates are made of.

I'm with Larry on this one.
I want to see it! And I also want to see how many times the word "ASK" is mispronounced, in light of the above excellently articulated declaration. Like I said, It should be a HOOT!

Wow.

This is exactly what we need is a rapid fire questioning of the candidates to see how they think on their feet. I remember having to answer questions many years ago in this fashion and it makes one more alert to the situation at hand.

Doctor,
The problem we really have is the rapid fire decision making. These politicians pull the trigger before they even get the gun out of the holster. They shoot themselves in the foot. The bullet then ricochets and takes out our wallets.

Mr. Eckler,
I sincerely hope that whom ever gets the nod can think fast enough on their feet in case there is really a serious emergency in our county that calls for rapid fire decisions that have to be made which might mean seconds of life or death for so
