Weekly column - March 14th

"The true purpose of the Second Amendment, as noted by Judge Silberman in his opinion in the appellate court, is to ensure that we the people would have the means to protect our inalienable rights, among those rights are life, liberty and our individual pursuit of happiness, against an oppressive government. And if our government were to violate our social contract, the people would have a moral obligation "to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Here is my column for this week. This week I looked at the Heller case that will be argued before the Supreme Court next week.

Excellent article. I wish this subject was given more time on the nightly news.

Great article. I would add that to deny the people "the means to protect our inalienable rights" would surely constitute an attempt to "violate the social contract". May the people never shrink from their moral obligations.

Great job Jason!

You do realize that this kind of factual reporting will not gain you any "big time" national support to climb to the top of the newspaper columnist food chain. You need to include the "this would probably be a very bad ruling for the children and elderly should the courts find in favor of the radical right winged gun owners" . If you ever wish to be taken seriously you cannot use facts that are verifiable. You can under no circumstance indicate that the citizens of this nation have rights even tho they are granted by the law that is only fluff that really has no bearing on such cases.
Seriously on this article "You Got'er Done
