As all SCB-TV viewers know by now (chuckle, chuckle), Henry County has early voting this week in all 4 cities -- the registrar's office in McDonough, the community room behind City Hall in Locust Grove, Berea Christian Church in Hampton, and Stockbridge Presbyterian Church. All are open 7-7 this week.

I voted in McDonough and spoke with office staff there. The voting has been steady all day, and they still had a good line 1:30pm. Voting at the remote polling places was lighter.
Absentee ballot requests are in the hundreds. The Registrar had to order additional ballots!
