AFP recap (yeah, I know it's a month late)

Someone forwarded this recap of the AFP meeting from December 4th:

Special guests were local State Representatives John Lunsford and Steve Davis. State Director of the national Fair Tax organization, Gene Key attended, having promoted the training within his group. Delegations from the Henry, Newton, and Spalding County Republicans, Spalding Teenage Republicans, and Republican Women showed up. Three candidates for Henry County Commission Chair came. But the showing wasn’t limited to Republicans. Jason Pye, prolific blogger and former Chairman of the State Libertarian Party, promoted and attended the training.
I need to use that as a tag line.

John Douglas and Herman Cain were the main speakers and both were very well received.

And, speaking of the AFP...this comes from their e-mail list:

Our 2nd Annual AFP Day at the Capitol will be Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at 7:30am.

This will be a great opportunity to hear the latest on tax and spending bills in the state Legislature and sharpen your own lobbying skills on behalf of the Peach State's taxpayers. You can't change the world if you don't show up!

I'm looking forward to that since I missed it last year.
