Nunn not done with politics

I heard this on WSB this morning:

Sam Nunn for Vice President of the United States? In an exclusive interview, Nunn tells Channel Two Action News that he may be returning to public office after more than 10 years out of the political limelight.

"People mention running as an independent in the presidential race. I have not crossed that yet but I'm not ruling it out."

Nunn spent more than 24 years as one of Georgia's most successful politicans. He says his move towards a possible run stems from the frustrations many Americans have expressed about Washington and the two-party system. "Let's have a timeout for four years and have an independent government and get the republicans and democrats of goodwill and good faith to work together with whoever is President of the United States."

Nunn says he expects to do a lot of "speaking out" over the next six to 14 months on issues that concern him and he's not ruling out returning to public office.
