I don't want to hear Westmoreland whining about government spending anymore. He is just as guilty about robbing the taxpayers to fund his own pet projects.

Jace, what were the 2 "pork" projects Westmoreland has on the bill?

Jason, do you know what they were and how much money is involved?

Congressman Westmoreland's 2 pork request were for Cartildge Infuser (Both times). My brief research shows this is for the Army. I could be wrong, but seems like legitimate request.

No bridge to no- where no local pet projects. The Congressman continues to do the right things and should be held in high regard.

Thank you Publius #5! Westmoreland is one of kind in Washington and should be commended.

All earmarks are not "pork" and all the pork is not in the earmarks!

Here is the information on the Cartledge Infuser.

ngreenbaum,

I do not have the dollar amounts associated for these projects.

Wow Jace, way to talk out your ass.

You apparently oppose an expenditure that is not only for one of the enumerated powers (Art. 1, sec 8), but one that would that would help save soldier's lives.

There are some frivolous requests in this list, but there are many that are not and as Chris said, they'd fall under Article 1, Section 8.

The big question is whether David Scott's earmarks are for Inman Park, where he lives, or for the congressional district he represents, where he doesn't live?

This is a pretty good spreadsheet to see who wants to spend where.

Farris,

You're one to lecture someone about talking out of his/her ass, Mr. The Greatest Thing We Can Possibly Do is Re-Elect Sonny Perdue!

Admittedly though, I never did research the earmarks before criticizing him for them.

Westmoreland is not only a fine congressman representing Georgia, but a great American taking care of our troups in harm's way.

Jace go sit n the cornner for ten minutes and think obefore you type next time.

Yes, sir. I'll wear my Dunce cap as well...
