Memorial Day Open Thread
Have a good Memorial Day.
[UPDATE] The family and I had a cookout this afternoon. We had a blast. We played a modified version of baseball with some other kids that were hanging around and after we ate it was men versus women (and my brother-in-law). I took one deep for a three run shot (left-handed), but my mom was the MVP. She killed it.
In my last turn to bat, I swung a bit too hard and I heard a pop in my shoulder. Needless to say, I'm in a bit of pain right now. I may be headed to the doctor to get it checked out if it's still hurting tomorrow (I say that, but I know I won't go...I'm not a fan of the doctor). But good times all around and I hope we do it again soon.
Hopefully, I'm going to put an offer on a house within the next couple of days.
That's a little update on my Memorial Day. I hope you and yours had a blast.

In the past two weeks, I have attended four funerals, a Marine in Griffin, two soldiers in White and Franklin Counties and Deputy Scarlett in Henry County. Now another funeral awaits this week for a soldier from Butts County, who's father lives in the Hampton area. Remember the meaning of this day, pray for the troops on the front lines of freedom and keep all their families in your minds as you enjoy the blessings of liberty.
God Bless America.
