Clinton's goal is to destroy the individual
Doesn't this just define collectivism:
Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision Tuesday, saying it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity."It is thus necessary that the individual should come to realize that his own ego is of no importance in comparison with the existence of his nation; that the position of the individual ego is conditioned solely by the interests of the nation as a whole..." - Adolf HitlerThe Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an "ownership society" really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.
"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."
"Comrades! We must abolish the cult of the individual decisively, once and for all." - Nikita Khrushchev

There's a really good movie called "Brazil" that had an all-controlling over-powering government...
And that country's/government motto was...
"We're all in it together!"
How surreal.

If it takes a Village, and we have not yet achieved that goal.... then I am sure there are some villages still in search of their idiot.
That it what it takes to accept this line of thinking.
I cannot help pondering, following this Memorial Day weekend, all the men and women who served and fought and died to preserve the exact opposite of what Hillary and her ilk desire.
