Senate acknowledges veto override
Lt. Governor Casey Cagle has acknowledged the House's override of the veto. However, Cagle claims that the Senate has not received a notice of the veto from the Governor and that the Senate will consider other matters important to Georgia.
[UPDATE - 12:28pm] Andre has a statement from Perdue's spokesman over at Peach Pundit:
A spokesman for the governor said the House veto was “clearly illegal and unconstitutional.”“Now that the House is done with their temper tantrum hopefully they can come back in and finish their homework,” Dan McLagan said.
