Cagle and Judas...Separated at birth?
PeachPundit is reporting that Casey Cagle is the SOLE obstacle to a vote on a veto override. If this is true, then this puts into question anything Casey Cagle has said or done over the past year. He ran as a conservative. He held tough in the budget battle with the Speaker. But now, Cagle appears to be willing to throw all that away just so Sonny will give his blessing to Casey in 2010.

Hey guys lets try to slow down just a little. Give the man some time to figure things out. It seems very simple to me and you but there is a lot of things going on. Maybe he needs a couple more hours to get a game plan together! Let's give him a chance before we throw him under the bus.

Rep. Davis,
I'm tired of "slowing things down" and giving elected officials a free ride on everything. If he is going to override this thing, then he's gonna do whether I push it or not. But if he decides not to, at least I'll be able to sleep better at night knowing I didn't give him a free pass.

I agree. I am just saying give him a couple of hours not days. He must act today.

Considering that Sonny's legacy is going to be as the first governor in 40 years to veto the budget, and over some fishies at that, it doesn't seem like his endorsement would matter a whole lot by then. And I thought Tennessee's government was dysfunctional when I lived there. This defies any logical explanation.

Sonny just wants to be known as the Master Baitor.

Well, the clock is ticking...we'll see.
