- Barack Obama has filed papers for an exploratory committee. Which I'm sure you know by now.

- Hillary Clinton is not amused at the announcement.

- Bob Barr has written some thoughts on Jim Gilmore, who recently filed exploratory papers for a possible run for the White House in 2008.

Gilmore participated in a Cato Institute book forum last month and gave some candid answers on the steps our government has taken in the name of security. You can listen to or watch it here.

- Dick Morris believes that someone one other than McCain, Romney and Giuliani can and will win the GOP nomination in 2008. I personally believe it's waste of time unless McCain or Giuliani get the nomination.

- Ron Paul has launched a website for his exploratory committee.

- And in Libertarian circles it is now official...Michael Badnarik won't run for the nomination. Good.
