110th Congress Open Thread

Today is the first day of the 110th Congress and the Democratic takeover.

Red State a couple of posts on the new session (here and here).

Also, despite the Democrats going back on their word about seeking Republican input on legislation, incoming Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says that the Senate will serve as "cooling saucer" and it could take a while for legislation to clear the Senate after it comes over from the House.

What do you expect from the new Congress?

Nothing different from the last congress...

Record spending, record deficits, an amnesty program for illegal aliens, little or no tax relief...

the only thing I see is coming out of this congress is much higher taxes for the rich in other words boys bend over and grab your socks cause the rich aint gonna increase the taxes on themselves. so the ones that get hosed is the working class.
