Breyer should have never been on the bench

Justice Stephen Breyer was on Fox News Sunday this morning. Breyer recently wrote a book called Active Liberty. The titled is ironic considering this Justice has ruled against individual rights to private property (Kelo v. New London)and free speech (McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform).

Christopher Wallace asked Breyer about precedent, "How do you, as a justice, decide what's good precedent and what's bad precedent?" Breyer replied, "There are principles that help you decide, because you're quite right in saying no precedent is 100 percent secure, but the more the precedent has been around and the more people rely on it, the more secure it has to be."

There are specific cases that I agree with that the court has settled like Brown v. Board of Education, for example. But Roe v. Wade was a terribly decided case that is a violation of the 10th Amendment, that's my opinion at least. I'm no lawyer, but as I read the Constitution that's what I get out of it. Kelo is just as bad, if not worse because we actually know the intent of the Founders.

Anyway...here is a some humor. What if the Supreme Court Justices were rock stars? It's sort of a funny look at the judiciary.
