What would you like to see happen?

Erick over at Peach Pundit asks this question:

What legislation do you think the legislature should pursue in the upcoming legislative session.
Here is what I'd like to see come out of the legislature next year:
- Elimination of the state income tax.
- Relaxtion of Georgia’s ballot access laws, which are some of the most restrictive in the country.
- Fusion ticket law.
- An elected state education board as opposed to an appointed one.
- TABOR.
- Verifiable ballots.
- Legislation barring Georgia from participation in the REAL ID Act.
So...what would like to see the legislature do next year?

Fusion ticket law

What is this?

Spending held to a less than three percent increase. It won't happen but it would be nice.

Second Choice ballot

Since we're dreaming, I'll dream big. Maybe we could try the Constitution Restoration Act of 2007...which would take the Constitution and enforce all of its protections that are written there but have been ignored by power hungry politians (including judges).

Joe,

Are you refering to Instant Runoff Voting?

Tougher Vehicle Registration procedures and linking them to an individual's Driver's License. I realize this sounds like MORE government- but it's a way to cut down on illegals commiting motor vehicle crimes/violations and getting away without accountability for their actions. You could simply hold the registered owner at fault.

Jason,

Yes, I see runoff voting/ second choice ballot as the same.
