Our delegation's record on pork

The Club for Growth has released a scorecard on who has been voting for the Flake Amendments in the House.

Congressman Jeff Flake has brought 19 different amendments to the House floor to get members on record, whether are voting for pork projects paid with federal dollars or voting against this sort of wasteful spending.
Below you'll see the name of the Congressman and the percentage of Flake Amendments they've voted for.

As I've said before, I'm glad to see my Congressman, Lynn Westmoreland, taking the lead of our delegation on fighting wasteful spending.

Congressman%
Deal (R-10th)95%
Westmoreland (R-8th)95%
Norwood (R - 9th)89%
Price (R-6th)84%
Linder (R-7th)74%
Gingrey (R-11th)42%
Marshall (D-3rd)5%
Barrow (D-12th)0%
Bishop (D-2nd)0%
Kingston (R-1st)0%
Lewis (D-5th)0%
McKinney (D-4th)0%
Scott (D-13th)0%

No surprise to see David Scott at the bottom. He's trying to shove as much pork down here as possible for this god forsaken commuter rail...the train to nowhere.

I'm glad to see my congressman, Nathan Deal, taking the lead as well.

Again, Gingrey’s RINO colors show. He got a 73% from CAGW, the lowest of any Republican from Georgia. Now he shows 42%, again the lowest, almost by half. We’ve got to replace this loser.

Unfortunately, we either don't have, or don't want to have, pork spending information prior to 2006 when the Democrats forced disclosure. What we don't know is how much pork these people voted for from 2000 to 2007 when all the excessive, wasteful spending was going on under Republican control. Since they lost in 2006, they finally "saw the light" but don't be praising them now and forget how wasteful they were from 2000 to 2006. How about some accountability here!
